Fair to Middlin'

I was feeling a little left out at the recent flurry of activity here, so allow me to point all Quodlibeteers to a recent article on Cracked: 6 Ridiculous Myths About the Middle Ages Everyone Believes. The comments are pretty good in general, but I encourage you good folk to further educate the masses.

I love the Knight, but at the same time I simply can't believe that they couldn't follow such simple Christian precepts such as loving your enemy, and never thought they would be capable of cannibalism (sure it was something desperate, but still). I also hate the fact that prostitution was something common. I am very puritanical myself, and I hate even further that the Church had connections to prostitution. More reasons to oppose the authorities and only follow the example of Catholic individuals such as saints.

What the heck is with all these coincidences? I started off on that exact site, where someone mentioned 'The Swerve', which I coincidentally, immediately found a review of on 'Armarium Magnum', then follow my clicker here, just to be referred back to Cracked again!

It's like Cracked is the dark abyss of the buttocks of fate.

On a different note:

@ Alejandro

Don't worry, you're in good company. God hated temple prostitution as well.

Still, at least it was because they were trying to reduce rape and all that, not looking for a little Sabbath friskiness.
