It does not qualify as science, for starters, because it cannot be tested. In our current physical forms and with our measuring instruments we cannot probe outside our space-time manifold. The physics of other universes (if they exist) would destroy us and our instruments even if it were possible to transcend the boundary of ours. Those proposing it ought to at least admit that it is a metaphysical hypothesis - one which violates Occam's razor, and is dispensable from the get-go.Rob Onoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5074683.post-36780589354776805342010-02-19T19:00:56.969+00:002010-02-19T19:00:56.969+00:00I think I have to agree with Peter Woit on this on...I think I have to agree with Peter Woit on this one.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18319161892002614759noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5074683.post-47441632793914029282010-02-19T17:29:47.194+00:002010-02-19T17:29:47.194+00:00Yes, the 'weakless' universe does nothing ...Yes, the 'weakless' universe does nothing to the fine-tuning issue, as you rightly point out -- in fact, it is just another example of fine-tuning since other parameters need to be adjusted. I have discussed that also in my article "Cosmological arguments for the existence of God":

http://snipurl.com/tw7lnAl Moritzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17422697770654047870noreply@blogger.com
